Steel is a US$1.8 trillion global market, produced today almost entirely from carbon-emitting blast furnaces. The industry emits roughly 3.7 billion tonnes of CO₂ every year, 7–8% of all global emissions, more than the annual emissions of every country on Earth except China and the United States.
A net-zero 2050 means this entire market has to be remade. The chemistry to make steel without coal has been solved for decades. The commercial proof has not.
That gap is what VACSO exists to close.

VACSO started with research into why green hydrogen and green steel were not scaling. The technology worked. Companies wanted to buy. But nothing was happening.
The research found an ecosystem that was technically active but commercially stuck. Projects announced, pilots running, reports circulating. Yet real transactions were not following.
The problem was not the technology. The problem was how markets form. Buyers could not commit without certainty. Producers could not invest without buyers. Everyone was waiting for someone else to go first.
So we decided to go first.
The long-term goal.
Green steel at industrial scale, supplying the materials that make modern life: the buildings we live in, the cars we drive, the infrastructure we depend on. The same one point eight trillion-dollar market, but produced without the emissions.
How we are starting.
At the top of the market, with a chef's knife. The knife is the first product because it makes the quality of green steel tangible to a real customer for the first time. From there, adjacent premium categories: chef tools, cookware, watches, jewellery. Each one builds the brand, funds the engineering, and walks the cost curve down.
This is how every hard-tech transition is built: from the top of the market, downward, until the verified-clean version is the only one that makes sense.
First green steel knife, then chef tools, cookware, jewellery. Customers prove demand; revenue funds the lab.
B2B partnerships with category-leader brands. Scale the verified-clean steel premium beyond our own products.
Production scales to industrial grade, supplying green steel for cars, infrastructure, construction.
